You can choose between one of two yachts, each one with all of your catering needs and other necessities at your fingertips. It is required that you have at least 8 guests and a maximum of 10 people.
The Linge Cruise is one of the cruise lines offered and popular with those wanting to experience an unspoiled landscape. The atmosphere is similar to walking back into time with almost the entire residents being Dutch. You can be spoiled with wonderful food, drinks, and live entertainment hand picked by the staff at Jacht Charter. The cruise ends with a delicious and well known “Captain’s Dinner”.
The following is the program for the Linge Cruise in 2008:
Arrive in Geldermalsen at 9:30
Meet and Greet with the crew at 10:00. Coffee and Cakes are served in Arkel
Depart from Arkel at 10:45
Arrive in Leerdam at 12:00. Participate in an excursion and a luncheon.
Depart for the cruise along the scenery of the Linge at 14:30
Arrive in Tricht at 17:00. Disembark and end the night with dinner and a chamber music concert performance.
After the festivities, return to Geldermalsen.
The Maas-Waal Cruise is also quite impressive. Traveling from Ravenstein to Nijmegan, the yacht cruises over one of the busiest rivers in the Netherlands, known as the Waal. You will first see picturesque scenery, followed by a trip down the Maas-Waal Canal, ending with a ride up the river towards the final destination point. Aboard the ship, you can enjoy a comfortable atmosphere while being well taken care of by the staff. The best chefs from Restaurant Belvedere are aboard for the adventure in order to provide the best food.
The schedule for the Maas-Waal Cruise is very similar to the other cruise excursion, with the exception of different areas:
Arrive in Ravenstein at 9:30, and have a coffee and cake meet with the crew.
Depart from Ravenstein at 10:15.
Arrive in Grave at 12:00, followed by an excursion in the town and lunch.
Leave Grave for the cruise over the canal and the Waal River at 14:30. There is also a short excursion to the Mokerhei.
Arrive in Nijmegen at 17:00. There is also a dinner and a chamber music concert. Later, all participants return back to Ravenstein.
Jacht Charter uses the Marie-Jose yacht. It is a luxurious ship with two propellers. When describing the overall design and building of the ship, it has been referred to as safe, comfortable, and luxurious all in one package. There is a beautiful salon connected to a large kitchenette and a wheelhouse where you can retain a great view of the surroundings. The Jacht Charter is a great way to experience all that the Netherlands has to offer, as well as relax for the day without having to worry with any transportation details.
